Destination Australia
Are you looking
for a holiday destination?Somewhere safe (if anywhere can be in today’s troubled world), interesting, maybe even exciting, certainly beautiful. With a great climate, plenty of sunshine and…beaches to enjoy it? With sports lovers? Cultured ? (in places). With big cities as well as great open spaces? And most of all, Friendly People? So a
great deal of the rest of the country was foreign to us. And it is a big country. We made a decision one day to get to know the rest of it. It didn’t take us long to decide that the best way to do this was in an RV, a recreational vehicle in which we could travel and live. This would give us the flexibility to go where we liked and stay for as short or as long as we liked in any one place. We decided on a caravan with a 4WD as a towing vehicle. If you are going to spend a shorter holiday you will probably choose a Motor home. These can be rented in all main centres and for any length of time, short or long. If this sort of holiday appeals to you then you may like to read of our experiences “on the road”. We had no time limit on our travels and so we were able to explore each area fully and extend our stay in the places we liked best.
